SKAGA

Italian workmanship, Swedish minimalist design

Skaga has a heritage with which only few brands can compete. The brand was founded in 1948 by Lajos Lázár, a young man from Budapest who, while on a trip in Sweden, learns about the commandeering of his factory in Hungary. Thanks to his determination, Lázár begins to build machines that later help him start producing eyeglasses.

At first, the company operated on a small scale, but as soon as in the 50s Skaga eyeglasses began to be sold outside of Sweden.

Skaga frames are known for their simple but elegant design solutions, they combine tradition and a trend, the collection presents the aesthetics of elegant design with a modern look.
